Portraiture is endlessly challenging and stimulating. Spend eight weeks focusing on the human face, head and neck. Each morning will will contain a slide talk with anatomy, canons of proportion, slide examples of portraits from contemporary and historical art, and time with the model in the afternoon to apply knowledge and skills.
Students who wish to sign up for this class must have taken Drawing or Painting with Sarah in the past and feel proficient in the basic elements of drawing.

- Sketch Book for notes
- Tape or clips
Studio will provide drawing boards and easels.

Class Cancellation and Refund Policy: If Project Space must cancel a class series a full refund will be issued.
If a student drops a class, they must do so 6 weeks prior to the beginning of the class in order to receive a full refund; anything afterward will receive a 50% refund.
