Summer 2018 Fine Art Camps for Children and Young Teens

Min: 5 campers, Max: 10 campers
Young artists will explore foundational visual art skills making original works of art with quality art materials. Inspired by famous artists and their masterpieces, we’ll DRAW still life, PAINT self portraits, SCULPT with wire and found objects, and CREATE collaborative murals, mandalas and installation art. Artist reception on Friday with campers’ artwork on display.
Paint a mural together, drawing games and finish any incomplete projects to present an art exhibition for parents.
About Brooke Nuckles Gentekos:
A dedicated artist, art teacher and arts advocate, Brooke holds a BFA from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in sculpture and fibers. She creates art in her Southern Oregon studio. Influenced by patterns, movement, nature, and human connections, she combine fibers (yarn, ribbon, string) with found objects to create colorful and textured works of art including large-scale fiber art installations, mixed media canvases and screen prints on organic eco-apparel.
Her artwork has been shown nationally and internationally and strives to create opportunities in the visual arts for all ages and abilities. Brooke teaches design, drawing, painting and printmaking at St. Mary’s School in Medford and has been teaching art to all ages for over fifteen years.

Cost: $100 + $20 materials fee
